The Protector

But the cost had been great. Daige had suffered countless injuries and had been pushed to his limits. As he looked out at the peaceful landscape before him, he knew that he could no longer fight. With a heavy heart, Daige returned to his village and tended to his wounds. For many months, he lay in bed, recovering from the scars of the brutal war. But despite the pain, Daige never lost his spirit. He remained resolved to protect his people, even if he could no longer fight.
