It’s a cold rainy day in the dark forest, the large dark oak trees standing in the wind, there’s fog hanging low on the ground, plants trying their best to catch any sunlight at all. Only the sound of the wind and the sounds of croaking toads near a small pond. However, there is one small point of light in the distance, a small cobblestone designed tower is appearing as we get closer, a large trail of smoke coming out of the chimney and there are some nuts laying around the tower, as if it is to feed the birds and squirrels. Once approaching the tower there’s a large wooden door, scarred with claw marks, it's almost as if a big creature has been trying to get through the entrance. . The tower is in bad shape from the outside, but inside the tower there’s a well-maintained library with mostly red books, there’s a pot stewing on the fireplace and a certain creature sitting in his chair watching the fire disappear in front of his eyes and watching his food cook.
This creature is known within the walls of Moonstone as Ivumar. Ivumar has been all alone since the day he transformed into a magical creature. He never had the urge to be with his kind, so he started building a small tower in the dark oak forest he was born in, just west of Moonstone. Ivumar is spending his life in this peaceful dark oak forest practicing his magic and observing animals. Over the years Ivumar became one of the best conjurers in the whole kingdom. This was brought up by humans harassing the tower, they tried to break into the tower and all failed, as if it were protected by a forcefield of magic. This story has been going all around the human kingdom as a myth, this resulted in Ivumar not having what he most desires, peace. Ivumar is forced to practice his magic, as humans keep harassing his home, trying to kill him, trying to prove themselves worthy.
The dark oak forest is protecting Ivumar, most of the days, from humans coming to his tower, as the fog will get so incredibly tight humans are not able to navigate the forest. This gives Ivumar the time to practice his magic in the journey that would later become known as the story of the “Tower guardian”.
