Jad of Virtice - Turning Tides

Jad is a proud member of clan Virtice. Aside from long walks along the blossoming hills and collecting beautiful flowers to decorate his antlers, making a name for himself was his passion.

Jad wasn't just any normal stag, he was the star batter of the Vigorous Virtice baseball team. His fans adored him and always shouted for him to be successful in the games to come. Before the attack on moonstone, the lives of all the stags and doe's were normal, well as normal as they could be. Each clan had its own team and there were biweekly competitions that took place to help keep our kind in shape and of course entertained! At this time Jad had been training his hardest for his next big game and this one was going to be tough! After the team's most recent win against clan Airesty, everyone from the team was hyped up for the next game against clan Domence.

Jad was excited too for the next competition, but he felt he must continue his training even more. Day after day he practiced with his fellow teammates and flirted with some of the doe's that would watch from the sidelines. Time had passed by quickly and the day of all days had finally arrived. The Vigorous Virtice match against Golden Domence was nearly upon us. We take stage at the Stone circle rock dome where thousands of fans showed up to give support to their favorite teams. There were all sorts of deer kind with us.

Political upper class making bets, knights getting lively and having drinks and even King Justice had made an appearance in support of his own clan. Things were heating up as loud chants could be heard along with in-sync hoof stomping. This was an exciting moment as this match was highly anticipated. The crowds were cheering as the players made their appearance on the field and each team had taken their rightful place on the field in preparation for the game about to start. The announcer stag had shouted that it was time to play ball and the crowd roared in response. “At the sound of the horn, the game will begin!” Excitement was in the air and Jad had taken his position to be the first batter to start off the game. All of a sudden, a loud explosion appeared in the sky, and everyone fell silent and gazed toward the sound. Gasps could be heard around the crowd.

A Thelessious conjuror appeared in the center of the field and casted a spell that made his voice louder so that everyone could hear. “Everyone we're under attack. Get to safety while you still can. Knights and fellow conjurors assemble at the front gate. We must protect the alliance!” He said in an urgent tone. Everyone began to scramble and attempt to get to safety. More loud explosions followed and screams of terror could be heard from all around. Jad remained calmed and composed himself, readied his bat in his hands gripping it tightly and whispering to himself “I can't just run away i have to help them”. It was at this moment everything was about to change, not only for Jad but for the rest of the herd.
